Home Infusion Pharmacy
MedRx Infusion is a home infusion pharmacy. We deliver your infusion medicine and supplies to your home, and we can send a skilled nurse from an accredited nursing agency to give you your treatment there.
What is home infusion?
Home infusion means getting medicine through a vein (IV) or under the skin at home, instead of in a hospital or clinic. It is often used when a medicine cannot be taken by mouth, or when other treatments have not worked.
A home infusion pharmacy gives you the medicine, the supplies and the support you need to have your infusion at home. MedRx Infusion Clinical Pharmacy is a home infusion and specialty pharmacy in Inglewood, California. We work with your doctor, your nurse and your insurance company at every step.

Is home infusion right for me?
Your doctor decides if home infusion is right for you. Before you start, your care team checks that it is a safe choice for you.
The nurses we send come from accredited nursing agencies. They are skilled, licensed and trained to give infusions at home. They bring the supplies and medicines needed to treat a reaction during an infusion.
If you would rather have your treatment at your doctor's office or an infusion suite, we can help arrange delivery of your medicine there.

Questions about home infusion
01Can infusions be done at home?
Yes. Many medicines that go into a vein (IV) or under the skin can be given at home. Your doctor decides if home infusion is right for you. We then send a skilled nurse to your home to give it.
02Is home infusion safe?
Home infusion can be a safe choice when your doctor and care team agree that it is right for you. During your infusion, your nurse checks your vital signs and watches for side effects. The nurse carries what is needed to treat a reaction. A MedRx pharmacist is available 24/7 if you have questions between visits.
03Who gives my infusion at home?
A skilled, licensed registered nurse (RN) from an accredited nursing agency, trained to give infusion medicines. Your nurse starts and manages your infusion, checks your vital signs, cares for your IV line, and can take blood samples for lab tests. Your nurse also teaches you or your caregiver about your treatment.
04Does Medicare pay for home infusion?
It depends on your medicine, your Medicare plan and your medical needs. Medicare Part B covers certain medicines and home infusion services when specific requirements are met. Medicare Part D may cover many infusion medicines, but often does not cover the nursing or supplies needed to give them. Our Intake Team checks your coverage before your treatment begins.
05How do I start home infusion with MedRx?
Ask your doctor's office to send us a referral. They can call (844) 671-2600 or fax (844) 671-2601. Our Intake Team then checks your insurance and works with your doctor's office to set up your care.
06How fast will my medicine arrive?
Once your insurance approves your treatment, we deliver your medicine and supplies to your door for free. Next-day delivery is available, or you can pick a day. Timing can vary by location. See where we deliver.
