Tepezza (teprotumumab-trbw)

Filled with a prescription and delivered free to your door, with help on prior authorization.

Tepezza is a biologic medicine. It attaches to a receptor called IGF-1R (insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor) and blocks its signals.

MedRx Infusion can fill Tepezza with a prescription and deliver it free to your door.

What Tepezza is prescribed for

  • Thyroid eye disease: people with thyroid eye disease (a condition where the immune system causes swelling of the tissue around and behind the eyes), no matter how active the disease is or how long they have had it.

A prescription is required. Your prescriber decides whether Tepezza is right for you.

How Tepezza is given

IV infusion, given by a healthcare professional. When your prescriber agrees it can be given at home, we send a skilled nurse from an accredited nursing agency to give it.

Before you start

Before the first dose, your prescriber may ask for:

  • a hearing check
  • a blood sugar check, and diabetes under control if you have it
  • a pregnancy test for women who can become pregnant, and birth control started before treatment

Read the Medication Guide and the full Tepezza prescribing information, and ask your prescriber or our pharmacists about side effects. Our pharmacists are on call 24 hours a day.
