Therapies MedRx provides in the District of Columbia
- Rare disease medications. Medications for rare conditions, such as Soliris (eculizumab) for paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) and atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS), and Tepezza (teprotumumab-trbw) for thyroid eye disease.
- Parenteral nutrition (TPN). Total parenteral nutrition for patients who cannot absorb enough nutrition through the digestive tract.
- Subcutaneous immune globulin (SCIG). Immune globulin given under the skin with a small pump, such as Xembify and Hizentra. A nurse trains the patient or a caregiver to give it at home.
