Vyepti is a biologic medicine called a monoclonal antibody (a lab-made protein). It attaches to a protein called CGRP (calcitonin gene-related peptide), which is thought to play a part in migraine, and stops it from working.

- Migraine prevention: adults with migraine, as a preventive treatment (a medicine used on a regular schedule, not to treat an attack that has already started).
