Nurtec ODT is a migraine medicine called a CGRP receptor blocker (antagonist). It blocks the docking spot (receptor) for CGRP, a protein linked to migraine.
MedRx Infusion can fill Nurtec ODT with a prescription and deliver it free to your door.
What Nurtec ODT is prescribed for
- Migraine attacks: adults, to treat a migraine attack with or without aura (warning signs such as seeing flashing lights) once it starts.
- Preventing episodic migraine: adults with episodic migraine (migraine on fewer than 15 days a month), to help prevent attacks.
A prescription is required. Your prescriber decides whether Nurtec ODT is right for you.
How Nurtec ODT is given
Taken by mouth. We ship it to your door.
Storage: Store it at room temperature (68°F to 77°F) in the blister pack it comes in. Take each tablet right after you open its blister; do not keep tablets outside the pack.
