Mavyret (glecaprevir and pibrentasvir)

Filled with a prescription and delivered free to your door, with help on prior authorization.

Mavyret is an antiviral medicine for hepatitis C. It combines two direct-acting antivirals, glecaprevir and pibrentasvir, which block proteins the virus needs to make copies of itself.

MedRx Infusion can fill Mavyret with a prescription and deliver it free to your door.

What Mavyret is prescribed for

  • Acute or chronic hepatitis C, genotypes 1 to 6: adults and children 3 years and older without cirrhosis (liver scarring) or with compensated cirrhosis (scarring, but the liver still works well enough).
  • Hepatitis C genotype 1 after earlier treatment: adults and children 3 years and older with genotype 1 who were treated before with an NS5A inhibitor or an NS3/4A protease inhibitor (two kinds of hepatitis C medicine), but not both.

A prescription is required. Your prescriber decides whether Mavyret is right for you.

How Mavyret is given

Tablet or capsule by mouth, given by you. We ship it to your door.

Storage: Store it at or below 86°F (30°C). Keep it in its original package until you are ready to take it.

Before you start

Before the first dose, your prescriber may ask for:

  • a blood test for current or past hepatitis B infection

Important safety information: This medicine has a boxed warning about hepatitis B coming back (reactivation) in people who have or once had hepatitis B. This can cause serious liver problems, liver failure and death.

Read the Medication Guide and the full Mavyret prescribing information, and ask your prescriber or our pharmacists about side effects. Our pharmacists are on call 24 hours a day.
