Leqvio (inclisiran)

Leqvio is a cholesterol medicine called a small interfering RNA (siRNA). It tells liver cells to make less PCSK9, a protein that keeps the liver from clearing LDL ("bad") cholesterol from the blood.
MedRx Infusion can fill Leqvio with a prescription and deliver it free to your door.
What Leqvio is prescribed for
- High LDL cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia): adults with high LDL cholesterol, along with diet and exercise.
- Heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HeFH): adults and children 12 years and older with HeFH (very high cholesterol from a gene passed down by one parent), along with diet and exercise.
- Homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH): children 12 years and older with HoFH (very high cholesterol from genes passed down by both parents), along with diet and exercise.
A prescription is required. Your prescriber decides whether Leqvio is right for you.
How Leqvio is given
Injection under the skin, given by a healthcare professional. When your prescriber agrees it can be given at home, we send a skilled nurse from an accredited nursing agency to give it.
Before you start

Insurance and prior authorization
Health plans often require prior authorization for Leqvio. Our intake team checks your coverage and works with your prescriber’s office on the paperwork before your first delivery.
The manufacturer runs a support program, Leqvio Care Program and Leqvio Co-pay Program, that may help eligible patients with costs and access.
