Filled with a prescription and delivered free to your door, with help on prior authorization.
Kevzara is a biologic medicine. It blocks the receptor for a protein called IL-6, which plays a part in inflammation.
MedRx Infusion can fill Kevzara with a prescription and deliver it free to your door.
What Kevzara is prescribed for
- Rheumatoid arthritis: adults with moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis (an immune disease that causes painful, swollen joints) when one or more disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) did not work well enough or could not be tolerated.
- Polymyalgia rheumatica: adults with polymyalgia rheumatica (a condition that causes muscle pain and stiffness, mostly in the shoulders and hips) when steroid medicines (corticosteroids) did not work well enough, or when they cannot have their steroid dose lowered.
- Polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis: people who weigh at least 63 kg (about 139 pounds) with active polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (arthritis in many joints that starts in childhood).
A prescription is required. Your prescriber decides whether Kevzara is right for you.
