Harvoni (ledipasvir and sofosbuvir)

Filled with a prescription and delivered free to your door, with help on prior authorization.

Harvoni is an antiviral medicine for hepatitis C. It combines two direct-acting antivirals, ledipasvir and sofosbuvir, which block proteins the virus needs to make copies of itself.

MedRx Infusion can fill Harvoni with a prescription and deliver it free to your door.

What Harvoni is prescribed for

  • Chronic hepatitis C, genotype 1, 4, 5 or 6: adults and children 3 years and older without cirrhosis (liver scarring) or with compensated cirrhosis (scarring, but the liver still works well enough).
  • Chronic hepatitis C, genotype 1, with decompensated cirrhosis: adults and children 3 years and older with decompensated cirrhosis (scarring so bad the liver no longer works well), taken with ribavirin.
  • Chronic hepatitis C after a liver transplant: adults and children 3 years and older with genotype 1 or 4 who have had a liver transplant, without cirrhosis or with compensated cirrhosis, taken with ribavirin.

A prescription is required. Your prescriber decides whether Harvoni is right for you.

How Harvoni is given

Tablet or capsule by mouth, given by you. We ship it to your door.

Storage: Store it below 86°F (30°C). Keep the tablets in their original container.

Before you start

Before the first dose, your prescriber may ask for:

  • a blood test for current or past hepatitis B infection

Important safety information: This medicine has a boxed warning about hepatitis B coming back (reactivation) in people who have or once had hepatitis B. This can cause serious liver problems, liver failure and death.
