Fasenra (benralizumab)

Filled with a prescription and delivered free to your door, with help on prior authorization.

Fasenra is a biologic medicine (a medicine made from living cells). It attaches to eosinophils (a type of white blood cell linked to inflammation) and helps the immune system remove them.

MedRx Infusion can fill Fasenra with a prescription and deliver it free to your door.

What Fasenra is prescribed for

  • Severe asthma: adults and children 6 years and older with severe asthma that is the eosinophilic type (linked to high levels of eosinophils); used as an add-on maintenance treatment (taken along with your other daily medicines), not for sudden breathing problems.
  • Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA): adults with EGPA (a rare disease that causes swelling of blood vessels and high eosinophil levels).
  • Hypereosinophilic syndrome (HES): adults and children 12 years and older with HES (very high eosinophil levels that can harm organs) when no other cause outside the blood has been found.

A prescription is required. Your prescriber decides whether Fasenra is right for you.
