Evenity (romosozumab-aqqg)

Filled with a prescription and delivered free to your door, with help on prior authorization.

Evenity is a biologic medicine. It blocks a protein called sclerostin, which slows down the cells that build bone.

MedRx Infusion can fill Evenity with a prescription and deliver it free to your door.

What Evenity is prescribed for

  • Osteoporosis after menopause: women past menopause with osteoporosis (weak, thin bones) who are at high risk of breaking a bone, or when other osteoporosis medicines did not work or could not be tolerated.

A prescription is required. Your prescriber decides whether Evenity is right for you.

How Evenity is given

Injection under the skin, given by a healthcare professional. When your prescriber agrees it can be given at home, we send a skilled nurse from an accredited nursing agency to give it.

Before you start

Before the first dose, your prescriber may ask for:

  • a blood test for calcium; low calcium must be treated before starting
  • a routine mouth exam

Important safety information: This medicine has a boxed warning about a possible higher risk of heart attack, stroke and death from heart problems. It should not be started in people who had a heart attack or stroke in the past year.

Read the Medication Guide and the full Evenity prescribing information, and ask your prescriber or our pharmacists about side effects. Our pharmacists are on call 24 hours a day.
