Creon (pancrelipase)
Filled with a prescription and delivered free to your door, with help on prior authorization.
Creon is a pancreatic enzyme medicine made from pig pancreas glands. It contains enzymes (lipases, proteases and amylases) that break down fats, proteins and starches in food, like the enzymes the pancreas normally makes.
MedRx Infusion can fill Creon with a prescription and deliver it free to your door.
What Creon is prescribed for
- Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI): adults and children with EPI (when the pancreas does not make enough enzymes to digest food).
A prescription is required. Your prescriber decides whether Creon is right for you.
How Creon is given
Taken by mouth. We ship it to your door.
Storage: Store it at room temperature (59°F to 77°F) in a dry place, in its original bottle. Close the bottle tightly after each use, and leave the drying packet (desiccant) in the bottle if there is one.
Before you start
Read the Medication Guide and the full Creon prescribing information, and ask your prescriber or our pharmacists about side effects. Our pharmacists are on call 24 hours a day.
