Aimovig (erenumab-aooe)

Filled with a prescription and delivered free to your door, with help on prior authorization.

Aimovig is a biologic medicine called a monoclonal antibody (a lab-made protein). It blocks the receptor (the docking spot) for a protein called CGRP (calcitonin gene-related peptide), which is thought to play a part in migraine.

MedRx Infusion can fill Aimovig with a prescription and deliver it free to your door.

What Aimovig is prescribed for

  • Migraine prevention: adults with migraine, as a preventive treatment (a medicine used on a regular schedule, not to treat an attack that has already started).

A prescription is required. Your prescriber decides whether Aimovig is right for you.

How Aimovig is given

Injection under the skin, given by you or a caregiver, after training. A nurse can show you or a caregiver how to give it.

Storage: Keep it in the refrigerator in its original carton to protect it from light, and do not freeze or shake it. Once you take it out, keep it at room temperature (up to 77°F) in the carton and use it within 7 days.

Before you start
